HAWN’s first full length, a real variety show. Seven dread reveries draped over blunt samples, unsympathetic guitar, and broken piano, with a singer so far gone he's wearing a smile nicked from Alex Chilton. Cast of characters includes bad angels, departed lovers, kind nurses, summer idlers, and helpful policemen. The sound of two individuals locked in a tower, making blues music to ferment their own bad dreams.
